Crossborder workshop in August!

The next STIL workshop on developing leisure and tour biking tourism will be held on 17th of August, 2022 at Yllästunturi Visitor Centre Kellokas in Äkäslompolo, Finland.

The upcoming Torne River Valley workshop has a focus on cross-border routes and networking among tourism companies and other relevant stakeholders. It welcomes participants from Finland, Sweden and Norway. We will start the day with presentations and experiences on developing biking routes and biking tourism from cycling advocacy organisations in Finland and in Sweden as well as learn about the idea behind the concept Widerøe Fly and Bike in Norway. We’ll continue discussing the ongoing biking developments in the area and working in groups. The STIL project group warmly welcomes everyone interested in the development of bicycle tourism in northern rural landscapes! We look forward to seeing you in August!
